Food for handlers and guardiens

Grill facilities will be available throughout the event, feel free to bring something to barbecue.

As a handler and guardian, you have the opportunity to partake of the good food at the checkpoint in Ånn

Dinner Thursday:
Double Highland cattle beef burger with double cheese, glaze, mixed salad and truffle coleslaw in a Brooklyn-style bun. Served with a cup of delicacy potatoes and a rich, flavorful sauce.

Coffee and homemade cake.

Breakfast Friday:
Hearty baguette and yogurt with homemade crunch, blueberry soup, coffee or tea.

​

Dinner Friday:
Moose stew with root vegetables and chanterelles, mixed salad, served with rice.

Coffee and homemade cake.

Breakfast Saturday:
Hearty traditional Swedish flatbread roll and yogurt with homemade crunch, blueberry soup, coffee or tea.

 

The chef come out and prepare the food on site out in the wilderness among howling dogs and happy mushers! Only at Åredraget, you don`t want to miss this!​

Karolinergården

Only 2 km from the Checkpoint in Ånn is Karolinergården. Here there are rooms with self-catering and the possibility of a dog in the room.

There will be fixed times with scooter transport to and from KG to the checkpoint every day. It is also good to go for a walk or go skiing.
