Time to Order Your Handler Meals 🍽️

If you haven’t already ordered food for your handler, now is the time.


Ånn Wheels needs as much lead time as possible to prepare. Serving food for 100+ people out in the wilderness takes serious planning, and we want to support them by getting final numbers in early.


This isn’t fast food in a parking lot. This is proper, hearty meals cooked on site at the checkpoint, surrounded by howling dogs, tired but happy mushers, cold air and open fire. Fjäll life, the way it should be.

And good news, it’s not only for mushers. Spectators, handlers and family members are also welcome to enjoy the meals.




🥩 Thursday Dinner

Double Highland cattle burger with double cheese, glaze, mixed salad and truffle coleslaw in a Brooklyn bun.Served with a cup of delicacy potatoes and tasty sauce.

Coffee and homemade cake.


🥖 Friday Breakfast

Hearty baguette and yogurt with homemade crunch.Blueberry soup, coffee or tea.


🫎 Friday Dinner

Moose stew with root vegetables and chanterelles.Mixed salad and rice.

Coffee and homemade cake.


🌄 Saturday Breakfast

Hearty traditional flatbread wrap and yogurt with homemade crunch.Blueberry soup, coffee or tea.


Ånn Wheels will cook everything on site at the checkpoint, right out in the wilderness.


Grill facilities will also be available throughout the event, so feel free to bring something of your own to put on the fire if you wish.


But first, secure your meal order. It makes a huge difference for planning and helps us deliver the best possible experience for everyone out on the mountain.

Storlien Högfjällshotel

The hotel has around 20 dog rooms, so first come, first served applies to these.

Karolinergården

Only 2 km from the Checkpoint in Ånn is Karolinergården. Here there are rooms with self-catering and the possibility of a dog in the room.

There will be fixed times with scooter transport to and from KG to the checkpoint every day. It is also good to go for a walk or go skiing.
